We are broadly interested in tectonic events in Earth’s history using field observations, geo/thermochronology, microstructural analysis, and geochemistry.

Jan. 2026: Press release on Japan Trench paper from BU
Dec. 2025: Our first paper on the Japan Trench from Expedition 405 was published in Science.
Aug. 2025: PhD student Bhooma Parthsarathy joins our group to start work on the southern Appalachian tectonics! We are lucky to have her.
July 2025: Cat finished her NSF postdoc at CU and is settling in at Baylor.
